Who we are
CNY Medicare Options (https://cnymedicareoptions.com) is operated by M&D Financial Agency, a licensed insurance agency. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you type into a form: your name, email, and phone number, and, if you choose to give it, the name of your current plan. If you sign up for an in-person meeting, we also record which meeting. Before October 1, 2026, the form also asked for the type of plan you wanted, your ZIP code and state, gender, date of birth, doctors, and address, and we keep what was submitted then.
- Consent records: the exact consent language you agreed to, the time you agreed, your IP address, and your browser type.
- Basic usage data: the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you clicked.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, bank details, or medical records through this website.
How we use it
- To have a licensed agent contact you about Medicare plan options, which is the reason you gave us the information.
- To check plan networks against your doctors and plan availability in your county.
- To keep records that federal and state insurance rules require us to keep.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site.
Who we share it with
Your information goes to M&D Financial Agency. We share it with another licensed insurance agency only if you check the sharing box on the form and select that agency, and only with the agencies you select. Those agencies are listed on our Partners page. We also use service providers that host this website, store data, and send email on our behalf; they may process your information only to provide those services. We do not sell your information to data brokers and we never send marketing mail on behalf of unrelated businesses.
Calls and text messages
By submitting the form you agree that a licensed insurance agent from M&D Financial Agency may contact you at the phone number and email you provided, including by automated phone, email, and text message. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling the agent who calls you, or calling (315) 992-1822.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies. Your browser's session storage keeps what you typed in the form until you close the tab, and preview versions use one cookie to remember which site you are viewing.
We use Vercel Web Analytics, from our website host Vercel, to count visits, see how people find this website, and see which of its main buttons get used. For each page view it records the time, the page address, the website that sent you here, your approximate location (country, state, and city), and your browser, operating system, and device type. When you tap one of the main buttons, such as Call, Local Meetups, Save a Seat, Get directions, or a form's send button, it records the same details plus which button it was and where it sits on the page, including which meeting for a meeting's buttons. To count unique visitors it uses a code made from details of your connection instead of a cookie, and discards that code after 24 hours. The data is not tied to you or your IP address, and it does not include anything you type into our forms.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the record-keeping rules that apply to insurance agencies.
- Opt out of calls and texts at any time as described above.
- Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, which we honor on request.
Security and retention
Information is stored on access-controlled systems in the United States and is retained for as long as insurance regulations require, then deleted.
